The new releases from Kumaki Glasses Style (K_gs) made me smile. When I was young, I did competition swimming, nono.. I was not that good… And I remember the swim cap. It was a terrible thing, putting all the hair under it, sticking to your skin and pressing your brains together… even more awful when you took it of. It must have been the reason I stopped swimming! But I love to see them here, K_gs turned them even into a cool look combined with the swim goggles. The easy menu makes it possible to change all parts in the way you want. OPENED: Epoque and ES Eyewear

Yesterday evening two new eyewear stores had their opening evening, Epoque and ES Eyewear.

VINTAGEwear has rebranded into Epoque. The new store has a modern and young look and the new collection will fit trendy costumers.

ES Eyewear is a complete new brand. The collection is not so big yet and the glasses have a classic look, fitting many different people.

Souvenir from Bali

I wanted to share a little holiday memory with you. The sawa’s, ricefields, at Bali. I am simply in love with them. The sweet smell, all the green colors, amazing, never realised that  there are so many different greens, and the quiet atmosphere. Yes, I agree, a very touristic view, because working in the sawa’s is hard for the Indonesian people. Good thing is, that the rice is mostly for their own consumption and will not be exported for low prices to other countries. But as tourist you simply have to enjoy the sawa’s, breath them and take them a little bit with you back home.

It seems already ages ago, but this picture was made a few weeks ago close to Ubud. The sunglasses are a free gift from MK Fashion, MK Sunglasses Scripted- F Star 1.0 for female and MK Sunglasses – M Darkstar 4 for male. You can find them in a box on the floor in front of the wall with eyewear collection.

Koguma kumaki, the designer of Kumaki Glasses Style (K_gs) showed me again his new releases. These glasses are in the price range of 300 – 400 LD.And have all features available you could wish for. Color change for lenses and frame, 12 different colors, 5 different types of transparency to choose from for the lenses and a hand and nose position switch.

I picked one out for the picture you see here, the LadyCatz. I like this one, because the model is classic, even a little retro but perfect suitable for the current trend, colored sunglasses. To keep the glassy trend, here pictured in red with polka dots…. for your eyes only….

Looking through pink glasses

Spring has arrived! Early sunrays, flowers coming out, birds singing, the world never looked so good! It is very easy to look to the world in pink glasses, many designers offer free ones to you. Here three examples.

At the left in the picture: [SteinWerk] Heart Glasses. Girlie sculpted heart shaped glasses. The opacity of the lenses can be changed to your personal style. They can be worn on your nose or head, complete with an up and down movement animation. You can find these glasses at XStreetSL and in the store of Steinwerk Design.
